How do I apply HK Nail Designs nail wraps?

It is super easy. 

• Select nail wrap based on width of your nail

• Remove the protective clear cover

• Using the silver base, peel strip from backing

• Apply the wrap to the nail, firmly smooth to release any wrinkles.

• File the excess strip from the edge of the nail.

  • Apply a quality topcoat, and you are done!

How can I get 2 manicures out of one package of HK Nail Designs nail wraps?

 Our nails wraps are usually long enough to get 2 nails out of 1 single wrap. Just place the rounded end on the first nail. Cut the excess with clippers or scissors, and round the silver base end with fingernail clippers. You can then apply this other half to the same finger on your other hand. Voila! 

 

Are your wraps made with nail polish?

YES! We use real nail polish in our wraps. But we are still able to keep them 7 FREE, which means they are made without the top 7 harmful chemicals found in traditional nail polish. No harmful fumes when you open the package either. Yay!

 

Are your wraps Cruelty-free or vegan?

Absolutely yes, they are both cruelty-free and vegan. So you can feel good about wearing our beautiful nails.

Where are your wraps made? 

We design all of our wraps ourselves. Our wraps are manufactured in China.  All products are shipped from Florida or Michigan within 5 business days of placing your order.

 

The tops of my nail wraps seem sticky after I apply them. Why is this?

We find that sometimes when the nail wraps are exposed to higher levels of heat, the wraps themselves can get sticky. For an easy fix, simply apply one coat of your favorite topcoat and problem solved, plus your manicure will last longer as a result.

 

My nail wraps peeled off? Help!

Please remember to clean nails thoroughly with the alcohol wipe before applying.  Also placing nail wraps over existing glossy nail polish can lead to the wraps peeling. It is best to apply HK Nail Designs nail wraps to clean, polish-free nails.

Most of our customers don't have any problems with our nails lifting, however, if you are experiencing lifting here are a few things to consider to help troubleshoot.

• Make sure the nails are applied to only the nail bed, when the wraps overlap onto the skin or cuticle, then they don't get a good seal around the edges. 

• Clean nails thoroughly before use, the natural oils on your nail bed can cause lifting

• Do not apply over top traditional base coats, they have a glossier finish and will cause lifting, however a sticky base coat is like magic in a bottle, if you apply a sticky base coat those nail won't budge. 
• Also many of our customers like to give their nail beds a slight buff. This can significantly help adhesion and even extend the life of your manicure. 
• And if you happen to have oiler nail beds, then we do recommend a sticky base coat. Orly makes a great one for about $7 a bottle. Literally this stuff is magic.

How many days of wear can I get out of HK Nail Designs nail wraps?

Our nails wraps tend to last 5-7 days with very little signs of wear. We have had many people say they are able to last up to 14 days! Applying a top coat over the wraps can help lengthen the wear of your manicure.

 

Can I place one nail wrap on top of another nail wrap?

YES! This is absolutely can be done. And it is recommended with our NEW overlay designs. Any of our nails wraps can be doubled up. This makes for so many combinations, especially when using our translucent collection or overlays. 

 

How do I remove my nail wraps?

We recommend traditional nail polish remover, rather than peeling them off. Acetone or non-acetone, both types of removers work well on our nail wraps. Allow for a few extra minutes of wiping, and they will come off easily, without damaging your natural nails.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated based on weight. Shipping is absolutely FREE on orders of $25 or more to anywhere in the United States. International orders will always insure shipping charges. 

 

Where do you ship to?

When will my order arrive?

 We do our best to ship out your order the same day or the very next day. Your order will be shipped no later than 5 business days from ordering. Once we ship, our trusted USPS takes over from there.

United States: 2 days handling and approximately up to 5-7 business days for shipping

International: 2 days handling and up to 15 business days for shipping

 

Can I have a tracking number?

We ship all orders via package rates, so yes, your orders will come with a tracking number.

 

Why have I not received any order confirmation details?

You should received an order confirmation immediately after placing your order.  If this doesn’t happen please contact us at hknaildesigns@gmail.com and we will look into the issue. Many times it is a result of the email has accidentally been entered incorrectly, but no worries we’ll sleuth it out for you.

 

RETURNS

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on any unused and unopened nail wraps. You can return via stamped mail you’d like or via tracked package.

I’m missing an item from my order. How can I get this resolved?

We are a small shop with 2 owners who try out very best to make sure all of our orders go out accurately every time. That said obviously mistakes can and do happen. We offer either a REFUND for the missing item or a shop CREDIT for a future purchase. Due to our shipping methods we do not send out missing items.
